Opened in Savannah by Waymon “Gusman” Jones in 1967, Gusman Records (and later Pitch Records, a label Jones eventually purchased) released recordings of local gospel quartets, family groups, church soloists and singing evangelists. Dozens of 45s and a handful of LPs were recorded and released through the Pitch/Gusman labels. A collection of the Pitch/Gusman catalogue is available here.
